When I posted about wanting to do a ferry session, I had no idea it would lead to one of my favorite sessions with two people who immediately felt like old friends. Alyssa slid into my DMs almost instantly, and the rest was magic.

Alyssa and David wanted to soak up every last bit of the Pacific Northwest before heading back to their home state of North Carolina, and this session felt like the perfect way to honor their chapter here. From the salty sea air to the soft wind blowing across the deck, we captured it all — the playful laughs, the quiet glances, the way they held onto each other like the world was shifting beneath their feet (because it kinda is).

They brought so much warmth and energy with them. Playful, intimate, and so authentically themselves. We ran around the ferry, chased light, and watched the coastline fade in and out, all while just having the best time. I swear we were talking about sleepovers like five minutes after meeting — that’s how quickly they felt like my people.
