The White Wedding

From the second I pulled into the Chelan hills, Brooklyn and Caden’s wedding already felt like a good time. The views were unreal, the wildflowers were showing off, and the vineyard set the tone—but what really made the day fun to photograph was *them*.

Brooklyn and Caden are the kind of couple who make my job easy. They’re comfortable together, always in sync, and clearly having the best time with each other. No forced moments, no overthinking—just lots of laughing, casual hand-holding, and those quick looks that tell you they’re totally locked in. I barely had to step in; their connection did all the work.

And then there was the soundtrack. *Mamma Mia* music was playing all day, setting the mood from the very start. It was impossible not to smile (or quietly sing along) while documenting everything. ABBA floating through the hills somehow made everything feel lighter—more playful, more carefree, and very on brand for Brooklyn and Caden’s energy.

The day moved in the best way—relaxed, upbeat, and full of life. Families coming together, hugs everywhere, people genuinely happy to be there. It felt less like a formal wedding and more like one big celebration that just happened to take place in a stunning vineyard. Everywhere I turned, something real was happening, which is exactly what I love to photograph.

As the light got softer and the hills started glowing, Brooklyn and Caden stayed exactly the same—easy, fun, and fully present. Whether we were sneaking off for portraits or they were surrounded by everyone they love, they never stopped gravitating back to each other. That kind of chemistry doesn’t need direction—it just shows up in the photos.

And once the party started, it *really* started. The vibes were high all night—good music, nonstop dancing, and zero chance of the energy dipping. Even in the middle of everything, Brooklyn and Caden kept finding each other, laughing, dancing, and clearly soaking it all in.

Photographing their wedding felt like being invited into a really good night with really good people—set to a *Mamma Mia* soundtrack. Beautiful location, incredible energy, and a couple who made the entire day feel fun, effortless, and real. Brooklyn and Caden did Chelan right, and I’d photograph that day again in a heartbeat.
